**About Justine Hutchinson** Justine Hutchison studied graphic design and became a freelance designer and illustrator, always maintaining her passion for painting and drawing. In 2014, she trained in the traditional tonal techniques of the Max Meldrum School and began to paint more regularly while juggling her work commitments. Justine’s still life oil paintings often depict subjects of personal significance. Her work expresses a sense of stillness together with the hint of a story about to unfold. More recently, Justine has begun to explore themes of a surreal nature and has added portraiture to her repertoire. Justine works from her home studio in the Macedon Ranges in country Victoria, Australia.
