The ASICS Gel-Nimbus 26 has been created with an engineered knit upper that encases each foot in soft, breathable comfort, eliminating any rubbing. Lightweight and highly breathable for all-temperature comfort, the knit acts as a lightweight second skin, providing a supportive and comfortable fit. With its engineered construction, air can fully permeate, providing a constant airflow so that your feet can breathe when the temperature rises or your training session heats up. Reflective details help to enhance visibility in low-light conditions so you can always be seen while a soft knitted tongue and collar deliver an easier step-in and a more adaptive fit. FlyteFoam Blast Plus Eco MidsoleThe Gel-Nimbus 26 has been constructed using FlyteFoam Blast Plus Eco cushioning, providing the perfect balance of lightweight and rebound properties. These layers of protection, bounce and comfort provide unmatched shock absorption and a lively ride. Its reinforced, organic fibres let the material bounce back to its original shape after every run so that you can train harder, more frequently for longer without the worry your shoes might not be able to take it. The Eco Foam features more foam than standard FlyteFoam Blast Plus Foam and is made from at least 20% bio-based material from renewable sources such as leftover waste from sugar cane processing. The midsole also includes PureGEL technology, which absorbs the impact of each foot strike and provides a smoother transition as your foot rolls. This helps to conserve energy and provides soft and bouncy cushioning. Completing the midsole is the Ortholite X-55 sockliner which provides added underfoot cushioning for long training sessions.
AHARPLUS Rubber OutsoleSupreme grip and traction are guaranteed with the AHARPLUS outsole. ASICS' High Abrasion Rubber is a tough rubber compound used in heavy-contact or high-wear areas helping to cut down on excessive wear. The high abrasion outsole provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage and protect users from losing control and slipping. Creating a strong bond with the ground, the outsole allows you to stay in control. Enhancing the grip further ASICS have also included their Hybrid ASICSGRIP rubber helping to create better traction, improved softness and advanced durability. Flex grooves adorn the outsole to provide added traction underfoot and allow for natural foot flexion for easy, unhindered paces. The flex grooves work with the rubber outsole to provide plenty of underfoot traction.
