Completing the upper is a lacing system that locks down the midfoot so you can enjoy distraction-free strides.

Vibram OPTI-STUD OutsoleDeveloped for maximised grip and traction, the Explorer FT Active's boast an OPTI-STUD sole patterning, powered by Vibram, for enhanced durability. The soles have been developed to assist you on a range of different terrains. Even when faced with abuse from the ground the rubber can stand up against this, deflecting blows and retaining a strong shape and structure. Providing multi-directional grip, the outsole ensures traction even on the more varied terrain, giving you confidence and stability in rocky conditions. Providing even further protection and durability, there is a rubber printed rand around the toe, heel and sides of the shoe, avoiding bumps and scrapes from debris, and keeping your feet more comfortable.
