Knit via the intarsia method by artisans in Tuscany, Italy, with hand-embroidered light blue and red waves elegantly wrapping around the sides. The sweater's waves resemble the many curved lines that are found in the Pacific Northwest's environment. Made in Italy. Â Sustainability Cortes' merino wool yarn is sourced from Italy and carries GOTS and mulesing-free credentials. The sweaters are knit by the artisan studio Manusa, a social cooperative based in Tuscany. Manusa hires and trains socially fragile people to encourage rediscovery of personal creative skills while preserving local artisan craft in their area. 100% GOTS and mulesing-free merino wool. Hand wash in cold water. Do not bleach. Lay flat to dry. Iron on low, inside out. Do not dry clean.
