Orvis Cone Head Muddler Minnow Fly
Description
Don Gapen of Anoka, Minnesota invented the classic Muddler Minnow in 1937 to imitate the sculpin, a small baitfish that darts across the bottoms of streams, infiltrates redds, and eats trout eggs. Originally developed to catch brook trout in Ontario, a conehead has been added to this version of the Muddler in order to get the fly down in fast-moving water. It's an effective new take on an old standard. Sizes 4, 6, 8. Cone Head Muddler Minnow Fly Size 8 Orvis
