The Trail 16 SL Backpack has been created using 100% recycled PET material and features Deuter's AIRSTRIPES SYSTEM. The system has been designed to reduce the contact surface of the bag and features large ventilation channels that have been combined with perforated shoulder straps and hip fins to ensure maximum airflow. The back system also distributes the pack's weight close to the body for a snug, secure fit over any terrain. A Delrin U frame provides structure to the bag, whilst evenly distributing the weight providing a comfortable and stable feel on those long walks. Soft-touch shoulder straps and hip pads are specifically designed to have a softer hand feel for added comfort when using the bag with bare shoulders/hips. An adjustable/removable sternum belt and waist belt add stability to heavy loads, ensuring a more comfortable carry. Although lightweight, this backpack provides plenty of storage for everything that you need. The Trail 16 SL features a variety of pockets for safe and secure storage of essential items. An inside compartment is ideal for keeping your valuables safe. Side pockets provide easy storage for items you want close to hand whilst an elasticated inner compartment is great for airing wet clothes on the move and ensures that your other equipment remains dry. A top, zipped pocket features perfect for keeping your small essentials safe. Pole holders, and an attachment loop for your helmet or Ice axe add extra convenient storage to the pack. The backpack features a rain cover for added water protection when the weather should take a turn on your hikes. The backpack is also compatible with a 3.0 litre hydration system.
