Created by Rodrigo Flores-Roux exclusively for Dolce&Gabbana, Velvet Black Patchouli opens with zesty Tarocco Sicilian blood orange, which mingles with fruity, balsamic notes of Indian davana oil and is offset by the dry earthy facets of Indian papyrus. Aromatic clary sage powers the heart of the fragrance, with its fruity floral quality giving way to pungent coriander seeds and the heady opulence of rose accents. Then comes the signature of the fragrance. Rich, woody patchouli with hints of spice and subtle spiciness coalesces with akigalawood and precious cistus. The iconic, weighty glass flacon is topped with a black velvet-trimmed stopper with golden accents.
