Nude Perfume by Bill Blass, Nude is a floral aldehyde women's perfume that was developed in 1991 by perfumer Sophia Grojsman of International Flavors and Fragrances. It has woody, aromatic, green, aldehydic, and yellow floral main accords. The scent begins with top notes of aldehydes, rosemary, bergamot, and galbanum. Oak moss, jasmine, narcissus, rose, and ylang-ylang make their entrance in the heart notes and sandalwood, orris root, musk, and vetiver base notes finish the performance. The sillage is enormous and the longevity is very long lasting, making this fragrance versatile for all-day, year-round wear, but best in the spring and fall months.Bill Blass studied fashion at New York's Parsons School of Design. After serving in the United States Army during World War Ii, Blass started his fashion career, working in both men's and women's wear. In 1959, he joined Maurice Rentner Ltd. and bought the company in 1970, launching his eponymous fashion and fragrance lines. Nexcen Brands now owns the New York-based company, which continues Blass' understated, contemporary designs.
