Description
BOGS collaborated with NativesOutdoors and Jennifer Younger; a Tlingit metal worker and jeweler by trade; to translate the art of the Tlingit formline ovoid onto a boot. The mother of Tlingit designs; ovoids form the visual sources from which movements emanate. To create the kind of balance and flow this art form expresses; it takes a master and deep knowledge of the culture and land. As part of this initiative; we are supporting the work of Herring Protectors; a grassroots movement led by indigenous women to revitalize the herring population.
