This fabulous ring is bold and beautiful with a central large faceted black onyx gemstone in gold surround in a wide ivory enamel band. It goes beautifully with our Magpie Bon Bons earrings. The wide band tapers at the back and the gemstone is 10mm by 8mm. The metal is brass with 18k gold vermeil so the gold should last a very long time. The reason we make many of our gold rings in brass, not silver, is that should the gold vermeil begin to wear off, (unlikely for a long time) it will not show through nearly so much on the brass, and give your ring a long life of wear. What do we love about this ring? It is so smart and on trend. All Gem Bazaar jewellery comes in a vibrant upcycled silk sari bag and a pretty pillow box. To clean, wipe gently with a damp cloth. Care should be taken with all natural gemstone jewellery, not to knock or drop the piece as a stone may be damaged or fall out. All gold vermeil will eventually wear off, and the more often it is worn the more quickly it will come off. But as this is a full micron of 18k gold vermeil, this should not happen for a long time.
