The weavers use natural vegetable dyes to achieve the rug's rich colors. Due to the handmade nature of the rug, its size may vary by up to 3-4 inches. The majority of the weavers are women from villages in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India. By supporting these artisans, we are able to create jobs for female weavers who may not have had this opportunity otherwise. The local community also benefits from rug weaving as the farmers sell their wool and the artisans create natural and vegetable dyes. Imported. Regular vacuuming and annual professional cleaning will keep your rug looking new for years to come. The handcrafted touch of artisan skill means that variations in color, size, and design should be expected. Note: Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen.
