Features: Handmade using traditional techniques and modern precision Made of 90% wool and 10% silk piles Pile height of 0.25 inches and knot count of 200 per square inch Vintage design with ivory, grey, and navy color combination Each rug is a unique piece of world art Story Behind the Art: This rug is the result of the master craftsmen's hard work and precision, who create a traditional graph for each rug pattern which is often quite intricate. The master weaver then deliberately destroys parts of the pattern to create random holes and gaps before the pattern is handed to the workshop to begin the weaving process. The end result is a beautiful rug with a vintage feel without any damage from harsh washes that fade dyes. Due to the handmade nature of our rugs, the size may vary from as advertised by 3-4 inches. Regular vacuuming and annual professional cleaning will keep your rug looking new for years to come. The majority of the weavers are women living in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and India, who create these rugs using natural and vegetable dyes. By supporting our brand, you are also supporting these women and their communities. Note: Color discrepancies may occur between this product and your computer screen. Imported.
