Inov8 Shoe Fit Scale

For technical footwear, a good fit is essential to enhance your performance. Inov8's new Shoe Fit Scale makes it easier to find the perfect fitting shoe. All Inov8 shoes are designed with Met-Cradle technology to lock down the mid-foot for a stable hold, where they differ is in the toe box. The shoes are now graded from 1 to 5, Grade 1 representing their closest, most precise fit and Grade 5 representing the widest fitting toe box.

The lower the number on the scale, the narrower the fit, which ensures minimal internal movement of the foot when running fast on technical terrain. Shoes with the higher numbers on the scale will suit athletes with a wider foot and those wanting that extra comfort in the toe box. This wider toe box allows the toes to splay for increased stability when lifting heavy weights. It's also perfect for longer runs and races when toes begin to swell.

Inov8 have graded the Parkclaw G 280 Trail Running Shoes as Grade 4.

Breathable Mesh Upper

Constructed using a durable mesh material, the Parkclaw G 280 Trail Running Shoes are exceptionally breathable, preparing you for those intense trails ahead. Due to their open, durable design, the fabrics will ensure that your forefoot and midfoot remain completely comfortable, by allowing a great level of air to flow through the shoes, preventing feet from overheating and allowing them to remain cool. The external heel counter wraps around the rear of the shoe and provides support in the heel delivering this extra hold that aids foot stability and helps a fatigued runner maintain a better gait. Protecting the front of your feet from rocks and trail debris, the shoes have a strong, flexible toe bumper, and a slightly wide toe box allows feet to splay for comfortable strides. A gusseted tongue provides you additional comfort, by preventing any irritation or chafing from occurring. Finally, the shoes have a traditional lace-up system for a locked-in fit, helping to prevent in-shoe slippage, and an external heel loop makes it easier for you to quickly put your shoes on.

This foam provides you with 25% more energy return, and will still deliver more energy return than most, once it has aged. Additionally, the shoes have a BOOMERANG footbed, which features hundreds of expanded TPU beads that work to compress and spring back, providing you with 40% more energy return, and greater cushioning than standard footbeds. Finally, the midsole component has exceptional moisture-wicking properties, keeping feet dry and comfortable.
