Stormlock Oxford is Jack Wolfskin's innovative water-repellent outer layer. The extremely hardwearing, bi-elastic material is windproof to provide coverage against the icy winter chill, while its super soft interior is lined with a cosy fleece covering. The 100% PFC-free water-resistant fabric repels light rain and works hard to block out cold winds. As well as this, Stormlock Oxfords bi-elastic composition ensures that it remains robust and highly breathable, the fabrication allows fresh air to flow throughout the garment whilst, at the same time allowing stale, humid air to escape; this creates a perfect microclimate for your skin to thrive in. Within the jacket, recycled synthetic fibre insulation ensures you stay comfortable and warm at all times. Microguard Ecosphere insulation strives to keep your body temperature stabilised at all times. The insulation traps escaping body heat within its fibres so that you can remain warm even when the temperatures drop. Furthermore, the insulation features a recycled synthetic fibre blend, meaning you can feel comfortable knowing you're supporting sustainable clothing production methods. The functional Microguard Ecosphere filling possesses moisture-managing technology, wicking sweat away from the skin into the outer layers of the jacket where it can quickly evaporate leaving you feeling warm, dry, and comfortable. The full zip is perfect for any expedition; the zips can be worn closed to seal in dissipating heat or when temperatures rise it can be worn open to release intolerable heat build-up.
