Made with a wool base and viscose/wool pattern Low pile, hand knotted carpet Handcrafted by artisans in Fowwa, Egypt Instantly ethically elevate any room with this Bangles Hand-knotted Carpet. 600 years ago during the Mamluk rule of Egypt, Persian weavers were recruited to produce carpets in a style foreign to them. Strictly symmetric and geometric designs birthed a Mamluk style unique to any other. Carpets set sail to furnish the grandest palaces including the Vatican and Al Hambra. *All of Kiliimâ€™s products are handcrafted, making each product unique. Slight size/color variations and imperfections are embraced. Care: Carpet clean recommended or hand wash cold with non-bleach detergent. For stains, scrub with gel detergent & leave to air dry. Do not use bleach, stain remover, or tumble dry. Products are for indoor use, do not expose to direct sunlight.
