Description
Naturally dyed wrap dress with a small roll collar, full length sleeves with a folded cuff and pockets at the front. Comes with a removable belt, which can also be tied at the back alone. This style can also be worn as a shirt over trousers or as a light jacket. We use vintage and new Mulberry silk/Boski textiles. As this is a naturally dyed garment, each piece is unique and its colors may differ from the photos shown. This textile is a living, evolving, alchemical organism. Preserve its life by treating it delicately and embrace it as it fades and changes. Care Handwash: Hand wash in cool water with a gentle PH neutral detergent (preferably one formulated for silk - check the labels). Do not soak, rub or scrub. Wash the silk slowly and gently through the soapy water for just a few minutes. Thoroughly rinse out the soap and refrain from wringing it out afterwards as this can damage the silk. Rather roll the silk gently into a dry, clean towel to extract the water. Dry out of direct sunlight. Machine wash: Always wash separately, on a cool, delicate cycle or silk setting. We recommend all silk items should be washed in mesh laundry bags using a gentle PH neutral detergent. The cotton dust bag that your order arrives in can be used to launder and store your silk products. Avoid fabric softener. Hang the silk to dry, out of direct sunlight. Tumble drying is not recommended. Do not machine wash any higher than 30 degrees Celsius.
