Shining threads rise and fall on the luminous face of this fantastical fabric, causing a slightly scratchy hand that coalesces with satin-like spaces. With a billowing, airy drape, fashion overlays on sheath dresses, bishop-sleeve blouses, and pencil skirts lined with charmeuse. Without stretch and although translucent overall, pockets of opacity provide a peek-a-boo aesthetic. A lining is recommended for comfort and additional opacity.
