Released in February 2003, the Air Jordan 18 OG 'Black Sport Royal' was the last model that Michael Jordan wore on an NBA court. Designed by Jordan Brand's senior footwear designer Tate Kuerbis, the AJ18 took inspiration from the worlds of auto racing and fine Italian dress shoes. The carbon fiber plate and rubber heel wrap are a nod to the world of auto racing, while the chrome eyelets and lace tips add a touch of luxury.
