PUMA Electrify Nitro 2 Running Shoes
The perfect choice for runners just starting, the Electrify Nitro 2 provides excellent cushioning and reliability for daily jogging. It contains a dual midsole of NITRO Foam, alongside a sturdier PROFOAMLITE compound, for an airy, cushioned ride.
Engineered Mesh Upper
Providing optimised breathability and enhanced in-shoe comfort, the Electrify Nitro 2s have a breathable mesh upper. The materials have strategically placed perforations to surround feet with fresh, cool air to prevent overheating, providing a cooling sensation as you move and a drier, healthier environment for your feet to thrive. A Puma Formstrip is provided on the lateral side of the shoes to enhance durability and improve the longevity of the shoes. The shoes also feature a TPU heel spoiler, rolled collar and 'cat's' tongue to keep the heel secure and comfortable whilst reducing movement for a more secure ride. Finally, traditional laces help to provide extra security, preventing in-shoe slippage from occurring.
NITRO Foam MidsoleDesigned for superior responsiveness and outstanding cushioning in a lightweight package, the shoes have a NITRO Foam midsole. Nitro foam is a nitrogen-infused foam that supplies explosive energy return and shock absorption, providing maximum propulsion. Not only will the foam help propel you forward, helping you to hit those PBs but it also absorbs shocks and negative impact forces as you strike hard unforgiving surfaces, by doing so this reduces stress on the joints and the risk of injury. Alongside this is PROFOAMLITE, a lightweight EVA compound that cushions your landing and propels every step.
PUMAGRIP OutsoleOptimising grip and traction underfoot, the Electrify Nitro 2s have a PUMAGRIP outsole, a durable performance rubber. The all-surface outsole combines the perfect combination of hardness for durability and softness for excellent grip, which means the outsole is great for wet ground and dry. The strong connection with the ground will also provide a firm base to push off from, allowing for a more efficient gait cycle.
