Ripstop Mesh Upper
Providing you with durability and comfort in a protective package, the Fast-Trac Nitro 2 utilises a ripstop mesh upper. This protective layer has enhanced durability in high-wearing areas to ensure that your feet are secure and locked in. The ripstop mesh has strategic perforations to provide feet with excellent levels of breathability, ensuring a fresh and cool sensation on the trail. The moisture-wicking properties also prevent you from becoming uncomfortable due to a build-up of sweat, keeping you dry during those intense trail running sessions. For even more durability and protection, the shoes have a Puma Formstrip on the lateral side, to provide stability when traversing difficult and rocky terrain. Detailing at the toe helps drain humidity as well as protects feet from debris. A comfortable tongue and collar feature to provide you with a great fit and feel, whilst a loop at the tongue and heel assist with putting the shoes on. Traditional laces with integrated eyestays provide you with an adjustable, snug fit.
NITRO MidsoleA nitrogen-infused foam features underfoot and is designed to provide responsiveness and cushioning in a lightweight, durable package. This midsole employs a supercritical process, by pushing nitrogen gas into a compacted plastic embryo, which is then injected into the foam. This then creates air bubbles through the foam, which helps to elevate the foam's rebound and responsiveness. The midsole helps to prevent injuries or discomfort from occurring on your joints, which sometimes occurs when striking down on hard and changing surfaces. A PROFOAMLITE EVA cushioning is designed to cushion your landing and propel you towards each stride. Finally, the shoes have forefoot drainage ports to keep feet dry from poor or wet trail running adventures.
PUMAGRIP ATR OutsoleProviding you with trail-ready performance and excellent levels of grip on often difficult running conditions, the shoes utilise a PUMAGRIP ATR outsole. The outsole has been designed for excellent traction on ice, mud and unstable surfaces.
