Originally developed for extreme skiing, the Steep Tech was introduced in 1991 as one of The North Face's first athlete-designed collections. The Men's Remastered Steep Tech GTX Work Jacket is made from recycled polyester and reinforced with waterproof GORE-TEX for durability in harsh conditions. Thanks to Heetseeker technology, the jacket combines warmth with a feather-light construction. Its PFC-free DWR coating repels water without compromise, combining environmental awareness with functionality. A detachable hood, an insulated collar and an innovative asymmetric front zipper also ensure lightweight wearability and versatility. - Fully taped seams- Detachable, three-piece hood with bonded peak and drawcord with cord closures for adjustability- Two exposed alpine-style PU zippers on the front, one full-length, asymmetric two-way zipper with internal storm flap on the left side and a short asymmetric zipper with gusset on the right side- Internal drawcord with cord closure at the hem for adjustability
