Environmentally friendly footwear brand, Veja, have carefully crafted the ‘Condour' running trainers from sustainable materials. The brand prides themselves on their ethical practises, and this shoe is no different; the upper is crafted from 100% recycled plastic bottles, whilst the lining is made out of 67% recycled polyester. As if that wasn’t enough, the sole is made from recycled rice waste and sustainably sourced wild rubber. This brand puts the environment first and buys rubber directly from Seringueriro communities in the Amazon, rather than careless suppliers, meaning they have helped to preserve 120,000 hectares of the Amazon rainforest since 2004. The shoe fashions a sloping heel and signature V branding across the side and tongue, whilst the traditional round toe design is secured with lace-up fastening. Details include shallow perforations across the sole, breathable fabric and TPU panels. Designed for daily workouts, this shoe boasts L-Foam cushion technology to ensure comfort for the wearer.
