Inspired by the 17th century painter Rembrandt Van Rijn (1606–1669), Visconti’s iconic Rembrandt Fountain Pen now sports a newly designed ring, ruthenium trim and a new, larger size German-made nib plated in ruthenium. The Rembrandt-S is now available in vibrant new variegated resins that mirror the great master’s use of chiaroscuro, an oil painting technique that uses strong contrasts between light and dark. Visconti has mastered this technique by selecting colorful resins with brush-like strokes that make each and every pen unique, a true masterpiece in its own right. Fine or Medium.
