Description
Traditional tailoring elevated with an up-to-date and rejuvenating look. This double-breasted coat exudes minimalism and effortlessness, but has equally powerful and eye-catching appeal. Expertly crafted from a luxurious and durable Italian Alpaca fabric, selected for its elegant drape, incredibly soft hand and rich texture. Slim and fitted, yet very comfortable and wearable with enough room for extra layers. Additional details include exclusive real horn buttons, high quality cupro lining, a double-breasted closure and peak lapels. Fabric : 90% baby alpaca / 10% polyamide Lining: 100% cupro (Bemberg) The term "Baby Alpaca" refers to the grading of the fineness of the fiber. It’s the softest part of an adult Alpaca, not the age of the animal. Quite rare (only 1. 5% of all alpaca production can rightfully bear this name) and valuable it's an excellent alternative to cashmere. This fiber is solely obtained through the first shearing of Andean alpacas. This is the reason for its extraordinary softness and fineness , resistance and versatility, which make it the perfect material for remarkable interpretations of creativity and style. Incredibly soft, yet of great heat and quality performance, Baby Alpaca® preserves all of its exceptional qualities during the weaving process. Alpaca fabric is soft and silky. It is lighter in weight and up to 7x warmer than Sheep’s wool but very breathable. It is not prickly like Sheep’s wool and far less likely to pill. Because it has no lanolin, it is hypoallergenic, naturally water repellent and flame-resistant. The fibers are extremely durable; a well-made alpaca coat can last for a very long time. Another bonus is that alpaca has a low environmental impact compared to other natural fibers. The neutral colors greys and browns are sorted directly from the fur and not dyed which gives those colors a slight extra softness. Dry clean only
