The most patterned hat among our releases, the Arawak hat is proudly adorned with intricate Guajiro patterns throughout its crown and brim. Painted in black, choose to adorn it with our Moroccan woven orange tassel strap. Each hat is individually crafted by hand in Colombia by artisans from the Wayuu indigenous community. Due to its hand craftsmanship, hats can vary slightly in size and have some imperfections, which is part of its uniqueness. LOOK AFTER ME Washein's straw products are easy to clean. Wipe down the straw with a soft, lint-free, tightly-woven cloth (to prevent catching or snagging). You may also try a moist facial or baby wipe. Should a stray piece of straw pop up, do not pull it — simply snip it off with a nail clipper or a pair of small scissors.
