Designed for swimmers of all abilities, the Buoyancy Kickpants will help you improve technical aspects. For novice or intermediate level swimmers the major factor that prevents them from swimming faster, is the lack of core stability and their leg kick. Their arm strength and technique is generally good but they have poor body positioning creating a lot of drag and 'dead weight', which makes it much harder to swim efficiently. The kickpants will encourage the body to go into a horizontal and streamlined position, which will, in turn, make you go faster, as well as making you more efficient with less energy being wasted with water resistance. Once in this position, the kickpants will allow you to focus on making a more effective leg kick and arm movements. Designed to replicate the feeling of a wetsuit, this will make the kickpants perfect for triathletes who on race day will wear a wetsuit. The kickpants will help to develop areas of strength needed for open water swimming. As you swim in the kickpants, the upper body muscles will be engaged the most, which with the legs and the core is used to provide control. This will mean that you can replicate the movements and techniques needed in open water swimming in a pool, making training easier. With some swimming pools banning wetsuits, this is a fantastic alternative. Additionally, in summer the kickpants can be used as an alternative to a wetsuit in open and warmer water. The tight fit of the kickpants will ensure that you will efficiently be able to glide through the water, with the smooth outer material also helping you maintain a high speed. A new comfort-focused waistband will ensure that you will be distraction-free. Flat-lying seams will reduce the risk of irritation being caused by rubbing and chafing. The smoothskin neoprene buoyancy design runs down the centre and the sides of the kickpants, and this will promote healthy hip rotation to enhance strength.
