Each blade was redesigned with a broader curve in the front to facilitate the rocking motion of Western cutting, while the straight back is ideal for the Asian chopping motion. The block pairs a ceramic canister with a richly hued wooden top. Carved out of richly hued sapele wooda botanical relative of mahoganythe lid offers a slot for each of the knives.
